What began as a 10+ year career of photographing families, babies & kids evolved a LOT over the past few years.
It’s safe to say 2020 shook us all, and my photography career went along for the rollercoaster ride with it. I was only three months into being a full-time business owner when the world shut down, and I knew I needed to pivot.
There was a lot of trial, success & error over the past few years, as I created new brands, launched new businesses, spent a year leading women’s programs & retreats, applied for part-time jobs, and ultimately, hit rock bottom financially.
I was scattered and I had stepped away from my real passion - my art.
When my father passed away in December 2021, I woke up. I got reconnected to what really matters to me, and I walked away from everything that wasn’t aligned with my dream of opening up my own photography studio here in Orange County.
2022 birthed a new level of focus and determination. I was back! 100% in and going after my dream.
But that’s not to say there weren’t any challenges that came along with it…
You see, in 2018, my first company, Gibson Goddess, was created, specializing in Boudoir Photography & Women’s Branding & Headshots.
But with such a rich background and years of experience photographing children, people were still banging down my door asking for family, newborn & maternity portraits.
And to be honest, as much as I wanted to focus on photographing adult women… a piece of my heart was still in love with creating beautiful memories for families.
Plus, it’s just something I’m really good at.

So… I started taking on more and more family sessions, kids’ birthday parties, engagement shoots, and in-home newborn sessions.
But it felt a little weird to send a Dad or a Grandparent to my super sexy website, full of beautiful women in see-through lingerie!
Thus, the Sister Company was born!

In this arena, I am fully dedicated to serving families, documenting special events and stepping into corporate offices, without anyone feeling embarrassed or uncomfortable.
As an artist, yes, my intention is to create beautiful images and lasting memories to go with them…
However, my real gift lies far beyond that.
My mission in this world, using my gift of photography, is to illuminate the divinity within others. To authentically capture the true essence of each person I have the honor of photographing. And, that in a photoshoot with me, you fall in love. With yourself, with the people in your life, and with your story. That you actually experience the sacredness of yourself and your life and the real reason that you wanted to do a photoshoot to begin with.
I’m just here to reflect you back to you.
